We have launched our first major fundraiser - an airplane raffle - in cooperation with Premier Aircraft Sales Inc. Only 5000 raffle tickets will be available! Each $100 donation equals one entry. There is no limit on the number of entries per person.

All proceeds and donations will support the building of the Wings of Dreams Warbird Restoration Center at Keystone Heights Airport at the end of Runway 5. We are a nonprofit corporation with a 501(c)(3) application pending. This raffle is registered with the State of Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, # CH24666.

RAFFLE RULES

Wings of Dreams Diamond Aircraft Raffle - Contest Rules

1.  
The 2008-2009 Diamond Aircraft Raffle is offered by Wings of Dreams Inc., a nonprofit corporation registered in the state of Florida with a 501(c) (3) application pending with the IRS to obtain status as a tax-exempt, charitable organization. All donations are welcome; however donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law.

This raffle is conducted in cooperation with Premier Aircraft Sales, Inc. Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Wings of Dreams Inc. is offering up to 5,000 raffle tickets and the Grand Prize Winner will receive a new Diamond DA-40 XLS aircraft with an estimated value of $330,000.
   
4.  
Tickets are $100 each. Each $100 purchase or donation equals one entry. There is no limit on the number of entries.
   
5.  
You need not be present to win.
   
6.  
You need not be a member of Wings of Dreams Inc. or any other organization to participate or win.
   
7.  
The raffle is open to anyone 18 years or older. Wings of Dreams Inc. Board of Directors, employees, their immediate, household family members, and employees of James Moore &Co. are not eligible.
   
8.  
To enter the Wings of Dreams Diamond Aircraft Raffle, a ticket must be ordered from an authorized representative of Wings of Dreams (call 352-256-8037), a ticket stub must be filled out with name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number and email address (if available) and returned to Wings of Dreams Inc., Diamond Aircraft Raffle, P.O. Box 357071, Gainesville, FL 32635 with a check for $100 per entry, payable to Wings of Dreams Inc.

A random drawing will be held in February 2009. The exact day and time will be announced on this website at a later date. A representative from James Moore & Co., an accounting firm in Gainesville, Florida, will conduct a final audit of the entries and supervise a random drawing to select the winner from all the entries received. Decisions of judges are final.
   
10.  
All mail-in entries must be received by Wings of Dreams by 4:30 p.m. on the last day of the raffle, which will be announced on the Wings of Dreams website.
   
11.  
No responsibility will be assumed for lost, misdirected or late mail. Wings of Dreams will send receipt after receiving entry and entry fee. Please call 352-256-8037 if you have not received a receipt or notification of receiving entry and entry fee.
   
12.  
Winner will be notified by mail, email and phone, and results will be announced on the Wings of Dreams’ (and possibly Premier Aircraft Sales’) website and newsletter. Entry constitutes permission to use the winner’s name and likeness for publicity or promotional purposes without additional compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.
   
13.  
Winner will be required to complete and sign an affidavit of eligibility; acceptance of rules; and release of liability; W-9 tax form and any other documents required to execute transfer of the price or pay applicable fees and taxes. Winner will have 14 days from notification to contact Wings of Dreams regarding acceptance or declining the aircraft, and to sign and return required documents or an alternate winner will be selected.

Wings of Dreams reserves the right to defer the drawing date until 5000 tickets have been sold or provide for a substitute prize (or prizes) of equivalent value if any of the prizes cannot be delivered. Due to unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances, if fewer than 2500 tickets are sold, the alternate prize is 50% of the net proceeds.
   
15.  
Taxes, licenses and registration fees are the responsibility of the winner. The winner will be subject to any tax laws that apply. All such taxes shall be paid by the winner according to the Internal Revenue Service rules and regulations.
   
16.  
Prize will be delivered to Keystone Heights Airport (42J), Keystone Heights, Florida. It is the prize winner’s responsibility to arrange transportation to an alternate location, or make alternate arrangements within 30 days.
   
17.  
Odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received. Circulation of the offer will not exceed 5,000.
   
18.  
Void outside the USA, in Puerto Rico, the province of Quebec, and wherever else prohibited by law, rule and regulation.
   
19.  
All persons submitting an entry agree to the contest rules and regulations set forth above.
   
20.  
All proceeds, minus any promotional costs, will go toward the Wings of Dreams’ building fund for the Warbird Restoration Center at Keystone Heights Airport.
