KEYSTONE HEIGHTS AIRPORT

Keystone Airport

Keystone Heights Airport, constructed in 1942 as Crystal Lake Airfield and used as a US Army Air Corps Air Base until the end of World War II.

The Keystone Army Air Field was a base for P-39s, B-24s and P-47s, and the 432 Tactical Reconnaissance Group.

The City of Keytone Heights acquired the property from the federal government in 1947.

We are looking for information, photos and stories about Keystone Airport during the war years when it was established as a WWII Army Air Corps Air Base.
