 Keystone Heights Airport, constructed in 1942 as Crystal Lake Airfield and used as a US Army Air Corps Air Base until the end of World War II.The Keystone Army Air Field was a base for P-39s, B-24s and P-47s, and the 432 Tactical Reconnaissance Group. The City of Keytone Heights acquired the property from the federal government in 1947.
